Thank you for being a participant in this project called "Doing God's Work". This project has been approved by the Human Subjects Board of Texas Tech University
The purpose of this project is to measure the effects of stress, forced termination, and high ministry demands on ministers. In the survey, there are questions about how you feel about your job, family, and marriage. Some of the questions are a little bit personal. It is good for us if everyone answers all the questions.
There are about 90 questions. It will take you about 30 - 45 minutes to finish the survey. It is best if you complete the survey in one sitting. At the end of the survey you will be asked to participate in further research, you are not required to do so. If you choose to participate in further research, you will be re-directed to a seperate survey and asked for contact information.
No one else will see your answers. They will be stored in a password protected file. Doing these surveys is completely up to you. No one can force you to do them and you won't lose anything if you don't do them.
