Hey, Kamusta, Hi Volunteers!
This year's QPC committee would like for you all to not only partake in facilitating this conference but hope that you will gain/spread/redefine knowledge out of this wondrous event.
It is a rare opportunity that queer pin@ys and allies from all over the world are in a common space to share their enriching perspectives which truly Illuminate the Queer Diaspora. So.. TAKE ADVANTAGE and ENGAGE in the issues and discussions present.
Our hope is that you take away more than just volunteered hours. Challenge, explore, participate, actively listen, immerse yourself... walk away with more than the gratifying feeling of volunteering a few hours of your day. Here are some ways you can get more involved!!!
_TALK - to the attendees, network, learn.
_ATTEND – after ushering people to a workshop, sit in and listen. There will be 3 rounds of workshops and descriptions will be provided in the QPC program.
_WORKSHOP – there will be a volunteer caucus in which you can share your QPC experience and offer concerns/suggestions for future QPCs.
_SPREAD THE WORD – be aware and spread awareness and knowledge of your experience.
