The VOX Wah-wah introduced the plaintive cry of leading guitarists to millions of listeners all the way back in 1966. From the distinctive sound of "Sunshine of Your Love" to "Voodoo Child." George Harrison even wrote an ode to it on his All Things Must Pass solo record in the song "Wah Wah." Today, artists such as Omar from The Mars Volta and Ben Harper carry on the Wah Wah tradition.
