THE PRIZE

1 x hotel voucher to the value of £250 valid until 15th April 2009

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. In consideration of individuals completing the ‘well travelled kids’ survey attached to the Mumsnet newsletter, (“Participants”) those Participants shall be entered into a prize draw. No purchase is necessary to participate.

2. The entry period is from 4 December 2008 to 11 December 2008.

3. Participants may enter only once.

4. The prize draw is not open to employees of Hotels.com group companies.

5. The prize draw is only open to UK residents who are over 18 years of age.

6. To enter; complete the ‘well travelled kids’ survey attached to the Mumsnet newsletter.

7. Participants in the prize draw must submit survey responses which are original to them and must not copy the work of someone else. Participants must not produce responses which, in the reasonable opinion of Hotels.com, could be construed as obscene, offensive or derogatory.

8. Participants agree and acknowledge that the responses they produce may be reproduced by Hotels.com as aggregated survey results or verbatim extracts from anecdotes or stories submitted. Participants grant to Hotels.com a perpetual royalty-free global license to use the survey responses submitted. Participants waive absolutely the right to have their responses attributed to them and the right to object to derogatory treatment of their responses.

9. The prize draw will occur the day after the entry period is completed. A winner will be drawn at random by the judges, who shall be two representatives of Hotels.com group companies. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence or communication will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email after the prize draw day and instructions to claim prize will be included in this email. Prize winner details for the Prize Draw are available for one month after the entry period is completed. To access the winner’s details, send a stamped SAE to Hotels.com Prize Draw, care of Seventy Seven PR, 77 Kingsway, London, WC2B 6SR.

10. No responsibility is accepted by Hotels.com for any incomplete or inaccurate entries or for matters beyond its control.

11. By completing and submitting the survey, Participants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

12. The prize winner will be notified by email on or after 15th December 2008.

13. The prize winner must use their voucher before 15 April 2009. Hotels are subject to availability. Usual booking terms and conditions apply and black outs may apply. Validity of the prize cannot be extended.

14. Prize will be awarded to entrants with a UK postal address only.

15. If the prize winner is untraceable after Hotels.com’s reasonable efforts, Hotels.com may dispose of the prize as it thinks fit without any liability.

16. Prize winners are liable for any tax liability accruing as a result of this Prize Draw promotion.

17. Prize hotel vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-changeable. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. Hotels.com will not substitute prizes of a similar value under any circumstances.

18. Prize hotel vouchers cannot be applied to the cost of any previously purchased reservations or other miscellaneous charges.

19. The Prize hotel voucher winner will be responsible for obtaining where necessary, valid passports and visas and appropriate vaccinations and inoculations. It is strongly recommended that travellers take out adequate travel insurance.

20. All personal data collected for the purposes of this draw will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Hotels.com’s Privacy Policy.

21. Hotels.com reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize draw promotion without notice in the unlikely event of major catastrophe, war, earthquake, airline action, or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar event.

22. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hotels.com excludes all liability howsoever arising connected with the prize and all warranties, conditions, undertakings, terms and obligations implied by law (whether by statue, common law or otherwise).
