The Maine Department of Education-Career Technical Education is requesting your input. MDOE-CTE, Maine Administrators of Career and Technical Education and Maine Department of Labor will be meeting to discuss how best to invest MDOL’s “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009” funds which are soon to be allotted. One area of great interest is Maine’s ever growing “Green” industries and “Green” business approaches. This survey helps bring to light CTE’s commitment towards this belief and new occupations. With your input, we hope MDOL will see our centers/regions has a means to invest their funds into tomorrow’s jobs.

This survey involves you providing “Green” examples of your methods, technologies, approaches, and practices. Question #1 will ask for your center/region. Question #2 allows you to select your program. Question #3 through the end of the survey will be asking to enter your examples of “Green”.

Once you start the survey, please enter your example into the provided textbox and then select the type of “Green” that closely matches your example. The following are examples of the different types of “Green” to select from:

Green Technology
--Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Wave, Geothermal, Biofuels, Biomass, Fuel Cell, etc...

Green Approach
--Super insulated walls, closed-mold, LEED rating, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, etc...

Green Practice
--Sustainable Renewable Resources, Recycled materials, Recycled used oil, etc...)

Greener Approach
--Bio-friendly chemicals, natural cleaning approach, recycling, etc...)

Other

You can provide up to (10) examples per survey. Once you reach the end, you will have an option to continue onto another survey to input more examples. If you have less then (10) examples, you are welcomed to exit the survey at any time. Once you have entered in your last example and have selected the “Green” type, please click the “NEXT” button (link here for PDF instructions). In the question following your last example, please select “End of examples to input--EXIT Survey” and then click “Next”.
