The credential requirements for Career Technical Education teachers were recently changed to increase the options for individuals interested in becoming CTE teachers and to ensure that new CTE teachers complete the required teacher preparation early in their teaching careers.

Similar changes are being proposed for the credential requirements for prospective Adult Education teachers. Please review the proposed changes and consider, will these changes allow an increased number of individuals to become adult education teachers AND will the new adult education teachers be adequately prepared to work with their students.
