6. To be able to measure how successful MEBSR is in helping companies improve, we've proposed goals for your review. Are we on track? Totally off? What should they be?

IN 5 YEARS MEBSR will be helping more than 600 Maine businesses thrive.

Its members will:
• collectively hire at least 1000 new employees per year,
• add 10% to their profits each year, and
• reduce their ecological footprint by 20% per unit of sales per year

MEBSR will remain self-sufficient while growing financially and organizationally to better serve its growing member base.

IN 10 YEARS, MEBSR will be a national model for business organizations by building exemplary prosperity through sustainable business practices.
