2010-2015 Consolidated Plan Survey

Survey Introduction

Make your opinion count! The City of Riverside is seeking community input which will help to set priorities relative to programs, services, and neighborhood improvements for low-income residents. This input will be incorporated into the 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan prepared for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This plan is prepared every five years and helps to guide the City’s use of grant funds received from HUD each year within that five-year period.

Please take a few minutes to complete the following survey. You will be asked to share your opinion by rating what you see as the level of importance of a variety of services and public improvements affecting the community.

The survey questions will fall into three categories: Suitable Living Environment, Decent Housing, and Creating Economic Opportunities. Each category will also have subcategories.

For each of the survey responses, please rate each item on a scale of “no need”, “low need”, “medium need”, and “high need”. If you believe that a number of items within a survey category all fall within the same level of need, for instance, “medium need”, you may mark each item as “medium need”. (Questions?
