The annual Environmental Surveillance Report (ESR) publishes the results of environmental monitoring in and around LANL and documents our compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. In providing this information, our goal is to give our readers a clear accounting of the range of environmental activities we undertake, the methods we employ, the degree of accuracy of our results, and our interpretation of the significance of the results.

It is important that the information we provide is easily understood, is of interest, and communicates LANL's efforts to protect human health and the environment and to comply with environmental regulations. We would like to know whether we are successful in these goals. Your comments are welcome.
