1. Introduction
The Military Transition & Retention survey is a ground-breaking study of how organizations support the success of their employees coming from service in the U.S. military. Its aim is to establish a body of knowledge that advances our collective understanding of how to position veterans for success in the civilian workplace.
Many of you represent Fortune 100 companies and, in thanks for your time and contribution, King Street Associates, LLC and Mymilitarytransition.com will provide a summary of findings to participants who complete the survey.
Your responses to the survey questions are strictly confidential, and will not be attributed to you or your organization without permission. If your organization would like to be identified by name (e.g., associated with a best practice or on a list of contributors), there is a place to so indicate at the beginning of the survey.
If there is someone else in your organization in a position to know more about this topic, kindly forward the survey to them.
The survey is comprehensive and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. We acknowledge your contribution as tangible demonstration of organizational support for veterans entering the workforce.
The survey will be open for the next 6 weeks, closing April 30th, 2010.
Congratulations on your decision to participate in this important study; you are in distinguished company. Your input will make a real difference for men and women transitioning from military service to civilian employment.
Warm regards,
Emily King, President
