This is a short survey regarding a new website launching this fall. We greatly appreciate your taking 5 minutes to answer a few quick questions.

The project is called iRent2u (http://www.iRent2u.com), like "I Rent To You". An easy way to think of it is eBay® for rentals.

iRent2u creates a single, local marketplace for the rental of goods and services. Its simple-to-use web-platform enables people to rent items (lend & borrow), and sell services, to and from their neighbors and local businesses.

Users can search for what is closest, cheapest, and from the most trustworthy lenders. Special protections are included to make sure everyone gets a fair deal.

The entire focus for the site is using the online community to build your local community. We want to give back to people a reason to speak to their neighbors, while at the same time saving them money, plus reducing their consumption & waste. It is really the next logical step after recycling, and it allows people to get more from what they already have.

We won a business plan competition in February and that is how we got our startup funding. One of the judges said it has the potential to "Change the face of commerce." We are very excited to get started, and your answers will help make it a success. Please be candid, your anonymous responses will help us create the best system for our future users.
