2008 Sharing ACE skills: Southern Metropolitan ACE Learning Community
1. 2008 Sharing ACE skills survey
The Southern Westernport Learning Community is back! But with a name change… Southern Metropolitan ACE Learning Community.
We are a group of ACE practitioners who are committed to quality teaching and learning in Adult Community Education in the Southern Region. The Learning Community started seven years ago and over many years offered a wide range of professional development to teachers and trainers in the Southern Metropolitan region. The Southern Metro Regional Council of ACFE provided financial support for many years. Regional Council recently provided the Learning Community with a small grant to provide some professional development (pd) to teachers and tutors across the region. We would like to start the ball rolling by getting feedback from you on the type of pd you would find most useful. The survey is a starting point in identifying the professional development needs and challenges of ACE tutors and underpins the development of a program to run in 2009 that will directly address those needs.
We hope that you will help us to support you!
Thank you for taking the time to answer the questions. For more information about this survey and the program contact Pam Gates, Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre dvnc@satlink.com.au
