1. Guidance note

Welcome to the Leadership Survey!

I know that hardly a day goes by without a survey of one kind or another dropping onto your desk. This time, I can assure you your views are really important as we try and build up a picture of what people in our colleges really think.

This survey was designed by staff in the School of Education and Training, University of Greenwich. The survey collects information for research with the University of Lancaster and the Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL). Thanks to all those who helped us design and disseminate it, including Mike Cooper, Trixi Blaire, Lindsey Baker, Graham Knight, Dr David Collins, CBE, and Professor Ian McNay.

The aim of the survey is to give you a chance to tell us about your ideas so that together we can influence developments in good leadership. Results from the survey will be reported anonymously. Your cooperation is appreciated and will be respected. Data held is confidential and secure under the terms of University ethics guidelines and the UK Data Protection Act (1998). The survey should only take 10-20 mins. of your time to complete.

Click on the word next >> below to take the survey. When you have finished, please click done>>. The survey will return you to the Surveymonkey home page, showing that data have been successfully recorded. You can't save your entries in a file but you can print out the survey if you wish to.

For further information or if you have a query, please contact: j.jameson@gre.ac.uk.

Best regards,

Jill
