Thank you for taking the time out to participate in this anonymous survey of fasting patterns during the holy month of Ramadhan of children within our community in the UK.

The purpose of the study is to determine demographic data and patterns of fasting amongst those between 4 and 11 years of age (primary school age) that can then inform medical practice, particularly in the primary care setting. We hold that it is not widely appreciated that Muslim children of primary school age regularly fast.
