The Family Adventure Project – Adventuresome Families Survey

1. About this survey

The Family Adventure Project is a project to research and promote independent family adventure.

In this survey we’re interested in finding out more about:
- who’ s doing what when it comes to family adventure
- what family adventure means to you
- how it affects you and your family

It's for people with first hand experience of adventuring with children, as a whole or part of a family.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re new to it or been at it for years, we’d still like to hear from you. People tell us completing the survey stirs up fond memories of their adventures and helps inspire them to get back out there. You have been warned!

It takes between half an hour and an hour to complete depending on your level of response. You can fill it out in several sittings if you wish. The site will remember where you got to if you leave and return later.

Complete it alone or with others and give us a family view.

IMPORTANT: HOW YOUR DATA WILL BE USED:

Your responses to the survey questions will inform research, writing and other services which form part of The Family Adventure Project. Unless you have been specifically invited to respond, your response will be anonymous and untraceable unless you provide name and contact details in the survey.

By taking the survey and submitting your answers you give us your permission to use the data you provide in our research and other work that is part of The Family Adventure Project. Data will be held securely and made available only to members of The Family Adventure Project research team.

We will not disclose any identifying personal details in any publications without your prior consent. We reserve the right to use and publish extracts from your data without further consent. In these circumstances names and identifying details will be with-held or changed to protect your identity and every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that individuals cannot be identified from the information published.

If you provide personal and contact details through the survey we will store this information in databases to aid the smooth running of the research and wider project. We will not sell on or pass on your details to any other organisations without your consent.
