Morningstar Pension, Endowment, and Foundation Database - Solicitation of Interest
Exit this survey >> Morningstar is considering the formation of a pension, endowment, and foundation database.
There will be no cost to participate in the voluntary database, and we do not foresee requesting information that will be difficult or expensive to provide.
In return, Morningstar will provide the trustees and administrators of each plan with periodic analysis reports, comparing the plan’s performance, risk, and portfolio to its peers within a state or nationwide.
Why a Pension, Endowment, and Foundation Database?
Though corporate, public, and endowment funds and foundations in the United States manage trillions of dollars, it is still a challenge to find objective, comprehensive information on performance, expenses, risk, and holdings.
The key to success and to Morningstar moving ahead with the formation of such a database is widespread participation.
