Southern Region: Implementing a Continuous Quality Improvement System to Drive
Your Accreditation Process
The Center for Institutional Effectiveness invites you to a two-day national
quality seminar for leaders of higher education institutions in the southern
U.S. The session is designed to help colleges and universities prepare for
the new reaffirmation-of-accreditation guidelines currently underway in the
region.
Reaffirmation of
accreditation is an essential undertaking for colleges – especially for those in
the South, where the vital process has just been updated. New requirements will
hold institutions more accountable for what students know upon graduation, and
accrediting agencies are therefore calling for stricter measures of assessment
and accountability.
This
two-day workshop will help your institution align its current processes with new
accreditation requirements. You will learn how to effectively implement the
reaffirmation of accreditation process, and institute successful
assessment-based reporting techniques. Following the approaches presented in
this seminar, you will be able to look at any site visit from an accreditation
agency as “business as usual.”
At the conclusion of this seminar, participants will be able to:
-
Manage your teams with Continuous
Improvement concepts and principles
-
Educate your colleagues on the
effective use of data to impact change
-
Apply effective documentation
principles to demonstrate continuous improvement
-
Evaluate approaches to creating and
assuring quality
-
Implement concepts to improve
institutional processes that demonstrate effectiveness
-
Apply the major changes in the
reaffirmation of accreditation processes in the Southern Region
-
Practice effective techniques to
facilitate the accreditation process smoothly
