1. What is a legend? An Idol? An icon?

This survey is going to ask you to classify a list of transport things into LEGEND, IDOL or ICON.

To help here are some defintions:

- A “LEGEND” : "extremely famous or notorious". “A traditional story popularly regarded as historical but which is not authenticated”. A LEGEND tends to be more notorious or their fame is driven or based on speculation about what they specifically do or did to make them well known. In some cases they may not even, in reality, be or have been that good at what they are famous for.

- An “IDOL” is admired for what they actually do or achieve (e.g. outstanding at a sport, a great singer) at a point in time. They tend to be admired for being the 1st to achieve a level of performance or bring some unique and distinctive style

- An “ICON” is admired for standing for MORE than just what they achieved in their chosen field. They stand and represent VALUES or IDEALS that people admire and respect. Their meaning is more enduring, because they come to represent something distinctive and important within society. They represent that value or ideal BETTER than any one else.
