2007 National Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) K-12 Educators Workplace Survey

In 2007, we conducted a survey to determine teachers, counselors and other specialists' perceptions of their workplace climate. The results of that survey indicated most LGBT educators work in troubling, unsafe and unsupportive environments where they feel their jobs may be at risk if they are outed.

This study has been approved by the IRB at Millersville University.
