Survey for Establishing A Vision Plan for '(tenatatively named) Yeoncheon Jeongok Wetland Park'
Since 2023, Yeoncheon County started a project to establish '(tentatively named) Yeoncheon Jeongok Ecological Wetland Park' in Hantan River around Jeongok, Yeoncheon with specialists of Natural Restoration, Environmental design in UC Berkeley, Birds Korea and so on.
To solve environmental problems and sustainable development, we intend to apply the "Nature-based Solution (NBS)" pursued by the international community and UNESCO to improve the water quality of the Hantan River, to promote biodiversity, and to create natural ecological experiences and rest areas for local residents and tourists.
This survey is designed to gather various opinions from many people to establish a vision plan for Jeongok Ecological Wetland Park, so please participate!
