The 2020 Vessel Turn In Program will be held April 23-25, 2020 at the Laguna Madre Wastewater Facility located at 201 Jester Street.

What is the Vessel Turn In Program (VTIP)?

This is a program designed to provide owners with a voluntary method of disposing of unwanted boats. The Texas General Land Office (GLO) and Texas Parks & Wildlife will verify if the vessel (boat) will qualify for disposal, the GLO will sponsor the removal of all fuel, oil, and batteries while the City of Corpus Christi will transport vessel (and trailer if needed) to the landfill for disposal. The boat must be clear of waste and debris.

You are encouraged to participate if you are a Corpus Christi resident and own a vessel under 26’ feet long in need of disposal. Longer boats may be accepted on a case by case basis. You will be required to bring the vessel to the drop off location.

Please contact us with any questions or for more information on the program.

Who is eligible?

A Corpus Christi resident with a verified title or anyone willing to sign an Affidavit of Fact can dispose of the vessel.
