Ending weekly bin collections - Your views

Labour are proposing to roll out multiple wheelie bins to households in the borough and to end the weekly bin collection, breaking their own manifesto commitment to protect this service.

Merton residents will have to put their household rubbish in up to five different containers. Household waste will only be collected fortnightly with the two recycling containers each being emptied on alternate weeks.

Merton Conservatives are calling on the Labour council to look at alternatives to protect the weekly bin collection.

We would like to know what you think about these changes.

Please take a couple of minutes to answer some quick questions and encourage your friends and neighbours to do the same.

Many thanks
