Hello! Thank you in advance for being a part of the Roots & Wings Learning Community! This is the place in which to register your child(ren) for the winter 2020 mini-mester. By completing this form you recognize that: a place is being held for your child(ren) on the days you identify; you will pay a $50 deposit within a week of your registration (paid via Paypal to rootsandwingscommunity@gmail.com); you will be an active part of making this community a success by engaging in community discussions, participating in periodic community gatherings/meetings; and participating in supporting the needs associated with educating our children in this manner (each parent has a co-op support committee to participate in). Program Details:
Roots & Wings is a farm-based drop off program for children between the ages of 6 and 12. However, in the winter mini-mester we will be largely based at the neighboring synagogue so we have a warm indoor environment available. The classes are mixed ages with at least three adults present to ensure a positive experience across the age ranges (a professional lead teacher, a professional teacher's assistant, and a classroom parent). Students must be enrolled for a full semester. Depending on demand we may open the opportunity for partial enrollment in the mini-mester. Please email rootsandwingscommunity@gmail.com if this is of interest to you. The winter session will run 6 weeks from January 14th to February 20th, and classes will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 3. Tuition is $50 per day, which equates to $300 for the mini-mester for one child enrolled in one day a week. Families can enroll for one, two, or all three days. The course schedule for the winter is as follows.

*Wednesday is now full. On Wednesday there is an additional option to register for a beginners guitar class from 3-4pm. The cost is $10 per class, so $60 total. Children six and up are welcome to participate in this class and their adults are welcome to strum along.
