Coastal Hazard Survey

We invite you to contribute to our understanding of the coastal hazards and observed coastal changes for Port Lincoln by completing this short survey.

The main focus of the study is to consider sea flooding and erosion, as well as how these coastal hazards may impact the storm water system and exacerbate rain flooding risk.

We are seeking photographs of sea storm events especially those that occurred in 2025 on 26 May, 24 June and 9 July. These photographs will be used alongside tide gauge data to evaluate impact around the Port Lincoln coast. This information will also contribute to our storm water study in locations where we have storm water outlets.

We are also seeking your view as to how much coastal change has occurred over the time you have been connected to the coast.

Visit yoursay.portlincoln.sa.gov.au to find out how you can contribute photographs. You can also email Council at sebastian.carr@plcc.sa.gov.au or call (08) 8621 2300 for further information.
