Introduction
In 2013-2014, the Washoe County School District adopted a new balanced calendar. Public opinion data was collected about the adoption of the calendar to determine whether the new calendar was meeting the needs of staff, students, families, and community members.
In response to this input, WCSD is now reviewing some changes to when the October intersession should occur beginning with the 2016-2017 school year. In this survey, two options for the timing of the October intersession are described, and we ask you to select a calendar option that best aligns with your preferences.
