Welcome!
New York State has awarded $10 million dollars to the City of Jamestown through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). This investment will build upon the nearly $10 million in State grants previously awarded to projects in Jamestown in Round 1 of the DRI program (2017). Jamestown DRI 2.0 continues that momentum, recognizing additional opportunities for redevelopment and expanding revitalization efforts. Funding will be used to undertake transformative public, private, and nonprofit projects that revitalize the City of Jamestown. Over the coming months, a Local Planning Committee comprised of residents, businesses, and community-based organizations will assist in developing a Strategic Investment Plan that will guide project funding decisions. Public input is critical to the planning process, and this survey will help identify community issues, opportunities, and needs to be addressed in the plan. What do you want to see in downtown Jamestown?
