The Teton Creek Corridor Project is a collaborative effort led by Friends of the Teton River, Teton Regional Land Trust, Teton Valley Trails and Pathways, and Valley Advocates for Responsible Development. The Teton Creek Corridor Project has many goals: pathways and public access, protecting agricultural lands, protecting and restoring stream habitat, protecting and restoring wildlife habitat, and reshaping development along the corridor. * 5. We have secured initial funding to work on pathway construction and with additional community support we will begin construction in Fall of 2019 or Spring of 2020. The pathway is designed to be a community asset available to everyone. Please let us know how you might use this pathway.

* 6. Numerous studies have shown that regularly spending time outdoors engaging in light exercise has health benefits, both physical and mental. The pathway section will be about 3.5 miles in length. Do you plan to use the pathway for regular exercise? Pick the answer that best describes how you will use the pathway.

* 7. In addition to providing access to nature close to town, the Teton Creek Corridor Project will eventually connect the City of Driggs to the public lands trailheads (e.g. Aspen Trail/Rapid Creek) via a pathway on the south side of Teton Creek. How often will you use the pathway?

Generous landowners have partnered with us to voluntarily allow public access through private properties. In order to respect private property and to protect wildlife during sensitive times, the Teton Creek Corridor project will need to prevent trespassing on private lands and enforce winter closures. What is the best way for us to educate the community about those closures?
