Background

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation wants your feedback on a network of traffic calming measures (design changes to the roadway to help slow down speeding cars) planned for Smallwood Street, Stricker Street, Carrollton Avenue, Lexington Street, and Hollins Street, as well as the locations where those streets cross major streets such as Baltimore Street and Fayette Street.

The planned treatments include speed humps, crosswalks, crossing improvements, and one location where short contraflow bike lanes could be added to allow safer two-way bike travel.
