Bungay Town Council took over three play areas owned by East Suffolk Council in 2019.
These areas are in a poor state and require renovation. The council has limited capital funds and are proposing some changes to how these spaces are used.
This is the second consultation with the community about how these are managed going forward. We value your input and invite you to share your thoughts on these proposals.

Based on the results if the previous questionnaire, we propose repurposing Wherry Road as a multigenerational wellbeing space, including free food planting and natural play facilities. We plan to remove current play equipment and create a more natural play area. Explore the possibility of joining this up with Annis Hill Green.
