Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) Survey - City of Kwinana
Background
Since 1995 it has been a requirement under the Disability Services Act (1994) that all public authorities prepare and implement a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) to improve access to their services and facilities for people with disability. The Act requires that public authorities lodge a DAIP to the Disability Services Commission. Local government is required to report on its DAIP in the Annual Report.
Since the adoption of the initial DAIP, the City of Kwinana has implemented many initiatives and made significant progress towards ensuring that the community is accessible and inclusive for people of all ages and abilities and continues this commitment.
DAIP Review and new DAIP 2019 –2021
