Rivers and fish

The purpose of this survey is to determine the attitudes of individuals toward various fish populations in the southeast Idaho portion of Greater Yellowstone (Bannock, Bingham, Bear Lake, Bonneville, Caribou, Fremont, Jefferson, Madison, and Teton counties). Below, a map highlights the region which again includes only the Greater Yellowstone region in Idaho. Our study is focused on fish found in the rivers, lakes, and reservoirs of this region. The information will be used in research conducted by Idaho State University researchers in the Department of Political Science. A paper based on this data will be presented at the Greater Yellowstone Biennial research conference and an article or articles will be submitted for publication. You have been asked to participate because your name is either on an email list provided by a local fishing group or you have accessed the survey voluntarily through a link provided in the media or elsewhere. We do not ask for names in the survey and all results will be reported in aggregate. Your participation in this study is purely voluntary. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. If you have questions contact Dr. Donna Lybecker or Dr. Mark McBeth at 208-282-2211 or email at lybedonn@isu.edu or mcbemark@isu.edu.
