The Town of Algoma Board is interested in hearing your perceptions about the Town and its future growth. The remaining amount goes to Winnebago County, local school districts and other taxing entities. Please select the statement you most agree with regarding the Town of Algoma’s current tax levy?

In order for the Town of Algoma to continue to be a growing and viable community into the future, we must raise taxes to pay for all needed improvements.

Some of the improvements are important, but we must be conservative in the amount we raise taxes.

We should only work on one improvement at a time and try not to raise taxes if we can help it by allocating resources accordingly.

The Town of Algoma is just fine as it is and raising taxes for improvements is unnecessary.
