Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) recently completed the Family Law Legal Aid Services Review (the Review). The Review included significant consultation with, and feedback from, a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on what VLA could be doing better in its approach to, and delivery of, family law legal services.
The Review developed a set of recommendations that were endorsed by VLA’s board. The actions adopted are set to be implemented over the next three years.
VLA is committed to continuous improvement, and leaning from what works, and what doesn’t, in its efforts to improve legal service delivery and as part of its standards of accountability and transparency. VLA is therefore evaluating the process undertook in the review of Family Law Legal Aid Services, including, importantly, the engagement with stakeholders.
VLA is therefore seeking your views on how well VLA consulted with stakeholders, what elements of the consultation process worked and what could have been done better and why. Your feedback will inform lessons learned which will be used to strengthen future VLA reviews and processes.
