I’m planning ahead for local park and footpath upgrades for Yeronga in 2027. These small, local projects are funded from the $500,000 Suburban Enhancement Fund but Council’s planning and delivery can take more than a year. This sounds like a lot of money, but projects easily cost around $200,000 each – that doesn’t go far across the 10 suburbs in Tennyson Ward. To give you an idea of the type of projects funded, recent successful projects in Yeronga include the playground and park upgrade at Jacaranda Park, the outdoor gym at John Walker Place and the puppy park upgrade at the Hyde Rd Dog Park.

I am seeking community feedback on what your top priority for Yeronga would be next year.
