USL POLICIES AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS RULES - "STAY TO PLAY" EVENT
1. Our "STAY TO PLAY" policy applies to all teams that participate in the SYL finals - ALL hotel reservations MUST be booked through SUPER Y LEAGUE (SYL), NO EXCEPTIONS. For teams commuting to the event see below.
2. Most hotels will enforce the 80/20% rule. Each TEAM is REQUIRED to reserve a MINIMUM of 3 days and 36 nights CONTINUOUSLY (12 rooms x 3 nights) at the same hotel. A ROOMING LIST - The person responsible for paying the room is required WITHIN FIVE (5) DAYS from the date of your hotel reservation form to guarantee your team's rooming block.

4. All room reservations will be honored on a “FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE BASIS." Team hotel reservations will be reserved for FIVE calendar days from the date the hotel reservation form is submitted. By the end of the 5th day, SYL must have received the rooming list(person responsible for paying the room) or the reservation will expire. If rooming list IS NOT received on time the hotel choices requested on original reservation form will be allocated based on hotel and room availability at that time.
5. The team's hotel reservation block is being guaranteed by the contact's credit card BUT the hotel will not charge the card UNLESS rooms reserved DID NOT SHOW UP.
Upon receipt of room reservation numbers from SYL parents should call and pay for their rooms as soon as possible. Deadline for parents calling the hotel is 11/1/2019
6. The "STAY TO PLAY" rule does not apply to teams commuting to the finals within a 70-mile radius of the Hillsborough County Tournament SportsPlex. If a commuting team wishes to stay in a hotel it must abide by the "STAY TO PLAY" rule and stay at one of our partner hotels.
7. Players staying with friends and family must submit to Nick Papadakis the following: Name of player, name, and address of friend or family and their telephone number. A maximum of 2 players per team can stay away from the team's hotel.
8. Make sure you read "Partner Hotel List" policies. Each hotel may have its own policy that may affect your team's stay.
9. MOST HOTELS' Cut Off Date for Hotel Team Block Reservations is November 1st, 2019 at 5 pm. (Check Hotel List below for individual hotel Cut Off Date Policies). After this date, if a team needs to reserve a hotel block, please contact Nick Papadakis.
