Workshop Application deadline:  June 9, 2019

You are invited to submit an application to attend this one-day free workshop sponsored by Project 2061, the science education initiative of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), in collaboration with Brookhaven National Laboratory. 

The workshop will take place at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, NY.  Brookhaven National Laboratory is located on William Floyd Parkway, County Road 46, 1 1/2 miles north of Exit 68 of the Long Island Expressway, Interstate 495.

The workshop will introduce you to Project 2061's curriculum materials for middle school science and high school life science students. You will also have a chance to try out activities in the two units to see how they support the three-dimensional vision of teaching and learning in Next Generation Science Standards.

Teams of two or more middle and high school educators are encouraged to apply.  A light lunch will be served.
