Cherry Strong 3pt Record Fundraiser
Coach Trevor Cherry, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Coker University, has always shown us that true strength is built through character, resilience, and heart. He’s the steady presence behind countless athletes—pushing them to believe in themselves, celebrating their wins, and teaching lessons that extend far beyond the weight room. His energy and genuine care have left a lasting impact on everyone who’s had the privilege to call him “Coach.”
Now, Trevor is facing his toughest challenge yet after being diagnosed with colon cancer. He’s attacking this fight with the same determination he brings every day, but treatment is long, difficult, and financially demanding. Medical bills, travel for care, and time away from work add up quickly, creating a heavy burden during an already challenging time.
To support Trevor’s treatments and recovery, I will be attempting the Guinness World Record for most three-pointers made in 24 hours on January 31st in Charleston, SC. I’m asking supporters to pledge a dollar amount per shot made, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Trevor. Together, let’s rally behind Coach Cherry the way he has always rallied behind us—and show him the strength of this community.
