MCMS Shadowing Program: Practicing Physicians Needed

The Maricopa County Medical Society (MCMS) is seeking practicing physicians to volunteer as hosts for local medical students to shadow your physician-patient interactions. This would involve an occasional half-day or full-day of shadowing, as your availability and schedule permit. Medical students want more opportunities to learn about medical specialties and practicing medicine in Maricopa County. By shadowing a physician, they can get a sense of what a typical day for a particular specialty might entail. We expect most of these shadowing experiences to be a one-time experience for the students, and therefore will not require an ongoing commitment on your part. There will be no expectation to evaluate the medical students.
