Kitselas is currently in the process of updating the Land Use Plan for the reserves. The previous Land use Plan was adopted in 2011 to  support us in putting into operation our Land Code.  Due to various reasons, it was not utilized as new development on-reserve occurred; therefore we are undertaking an update to the Land Use Plan and will also be developing a Zoning Law that will provide direction on what individual lots can be used for, how large they need to be, and how they should be developed.  
 
The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from Band members. We want to know if the direction in the 2011 plan still applies and to collect community input on specific land use planning issues. The information will be compiled and reported back to the community through a summary report that will be available on our website. All individual surveys will be shredded once the surveys are compiled.
