About Local Reps
 
Local Reps will be the voice of their respective community on the Regional Taskforce (RTF).
 
To become a Local Rep, residents must:

1.     Live in the community covered by their Local Council.

2.     Have attended at least 2 Local Council meetings.

3.     Show understanding of the issues affecting their community.

4.     Attend all monthly Local Council and RTF meetings.

5.     Attend trainings to help them be successful as members of the RTF.

Local Reps will serve for a full 1 year (or 12 months), and receive $600 for the following activities:

·       Attend orientation trainings via Zoom (trainings will take place between January 21, 2021 and February 19, 2021.
·       Writing and presenting a summary of monthly Local Council meeting discussions at monthly RTF meetings.
·       Writing and presenting a summary of monthly RTF meeting discussions at monthly Local Councils meetings.

*Total time commitment is about 5hrs per month

Applications will be accepted through Friday, December 18, 2020.

Community Health Councils (CHC) and your Local Support Team will review applications, and notify the top 3 applicants by Friday, January 8, 2020. 

In January 2021, Local Council members will vote for the 2 people they want to represent their community on the RTF.
