Stop Stigma Now Survey

This short survey (1-2 minutes long) is part of Stop Stigma Now'sIt's Great to be Connected Campaign.

Founded in 2007 by patients, health care professionals (clinicians, administrators, researchers) and other concerned individuals Stop Stigma Now's mission is to educate health care providers and the general public about the life-saving advantage of using medications for the treatment of opioid addiction; also known as medication assisted treatment (MAT). Our goal is to eliminate stigma and other obstacles to receiving effective treatment faced by people with opiate addiction.

Three Facts to Remember about America’s Escalating Opioid Overdose Epidemic:
... Opioid overdose deaths rose from 8,048 in 1999 to 47,600 in 2017   (a 590% increase)
... it is the leading cause of U.S. deaths under age 50.
... the U.S. has the highest overdose death rate of any wealthy nation in the world.

This survey will be the first part of what we hope will become an ongoing dialog with you about stigma, MAT, and the Opioid Overdose Epidemic.

Note, you do not have to answer any questions you do not want to. All data will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any person or organization outside of Stop Stigma Now.
