Prior to voting, please watch a short informational video on how to vote for your top three conservation values here.

Shown below are the seven potential conservation values for Highlands County's Land Conservation Program:

1) Threatened and Endangered Species and Habitats
2) Wildlife and Conservation Corridors
3) Surface Water Quality
4) Drinking Water Protection
5) Preservation of Agricultural Lands
6) Access to Recreation
7) Protection of Historic and Cultural Resources

After watching the informational video, vote below for the top three conservation values you would like to see included as part of Highlands County’s land conservation program. There are no right or wrong answers; simply pick the values that speak to you the most. The results of this survey, and the public meetings held October 2025, will be used to create a prioritized map of Highlands County that highlights key areas for future conservation efforts.
