The Redmond Teen Advisory Board is teaming up with the Redmond Library Advisory Board to hear from Redmond teens about what they want the future of their library to look!
To participate, we are asking teens to please submit a video or a document which follows the submission guidelines stated below to envision what the library will look like in the year 2050. Imagine the future of the Redmond Library: How will it look, feel, and function for the community it serves? Will it have the latest technology, or will it be a new kind of gathering space? Will it combine both online and in-person experiences? Participants will have a chance to display their work and win a cash prize!
Submission Guidelines:
D2D accepts two different submission formats - video and document. Regardless of format, you must include at least 5 MLA citations. Citations will be submitted in the form separate from your primary entry. Please do not use any profanity or hateful language in your submission. Please do not include any AI-generated content, images, or videos in your submission. Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification from the event or a penalty in your score, depending on the severity of the violation.
More info and details on the submission guidelines coming soon!
Submissions are anticipated to open in September, with the judging and final event taking place in October.
Please contact Redmond Teen Librarian Alana O'Neill at aconeillgaulin@kcls.org with any questions.
