Introduction

The Bee Inspired Program Advisory Council is a community coalition with a mission to empower all youth to make healthy informed decisions through education, prevention, community awareness, and access. The Program and Council serves Franklin, Hamilton, and Wright Counties. One area of focus is providing programs, services, and resources to youth and their families, schools, and alternative settings to help reduce adolescent pregnancy rates. Youth and adults are asked to please take a moment to complete the survey, which will drive council activities and efforts.  It should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

The Bee Inspired Program through Building Families is 1 of the Community Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (CAPP) Grantees in the state of Iowa. CAPP is a grant program that funds local community-based projects, with the intention of preventing initial and subsequent adolescent pregnancies, providing education and support to expecting, pregnant, and parenting youth, and delivering programs and projects to communities to help establish comprehensive sexual health resources and education.
