A new law is being made that's all about what Tasmanian organisations need to do to keep children and young people safe and respect their rights.

By organisations, we mean things like schools, sporting clubs for kids, hospitals, dance groups – to name just a few.

The new law has a big name, but the short one we use is ‘the Framework’.

We want to get the word out about the Framework in a way that includes the voices and ideas of children and young people.

By filling in this super short survey, you’re telling us that you understand that:
  • we won’t identify you, other than saying your age and a first name you choose to give us (you don't have to use your real one if you don't want to)
  • we will draw from the answers to share your messages with organisations about what they can do to respect the rights of children and young people in Tasmania. We will share them via things like information sheets, posters, social media content, website pages, and more
  • that you don't have to answer any questions you don't want to answer
  • you can reach out to the team who made the survey via cysof@justice.tas.gov.au if you have any questions.
We encourage you to talk to your parent or guardian before doing the survey, so they know you are contributing your ideas to the Framework's future.

Even though this survey doesn't ask for any personal information, you also can read the Department of Justice Personal Information Protection Policy if you want to.
