INTRODUCTION

The 2022 Team Up Take Action (TUTA) conference will be held virtually on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. The conference theme is Covid Pandemic and the Public Health Action: Rebuilding Through Alliances to Promote Health Equity. The conference will highlight public health and health system partnerships, cross-sector alliances, and innovative approaches to improve the public’s health and promote health equity.

The conference planning committee seeks presentation proposals reflecting our theme and focus. We’ll explore creative new alliances and approaches that have emerged from the pandemic and delve into ways to increase our effectiveness as we work to ensure health equity to transform communities, so they are more sustainable and just.

The conference was developed in response to a growing recognition that an interdisciplinary, coordinated, cross-sector approach is necessary to improve health equity. To advance health equity and improve health outcomes, we can no longer view these sectors as fundamentally separate from one another. The TUTA conference planning committee seeks compelling breakout session proposals highlighting promising and proven practices, advancing equity and inclusion, and driving the pursuit of excellence.

This is a full-day virtual conference being curated by the New Hampshire Public Health Association (NHPHA), Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Vermont Public Health Association (VPHA), and Maine Public Health Association (MPHA), with an audience of about 150. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give ideas-focused and evidence-based talks to foster learning and inspiration and provoke conversations that matter.

Submission Deadline: September 30, 2022
