Dear East staff,
In this survey, you will be asked questions about East's climate, professional learning, and school leadership. This survey should take you about 20 minutes. This survey is for all non-teaching staff, including administrators.
The information collected from you will be compiled into a system-wide report. In addition, we will release reports for East that show how the school is doing in each of these factors, keeping your identities completely confidential (all IP addresses will be hidden). The school report will display summary information, such as the percent of staff who find the EPO's initiatives helpful. In an effort to maintain confidentiality, we have eliminated some demographic questions and combined job categories. Please feel free to use the N/A button if the question is unrelated to your job.
Because these reports can help national efforts to improve urban schools, external audiences will have access to these reports. The University of Rochester may use these data to publish academic articles, presentations, and other publication venues. As in the school reports, your name will never be linked to your responses when we publish this research.
Information from the survey will be included on East's progress reports to NYSED and to the larger East community to help inform the school, teachers, families and community members.
