Northeast Regional Educators Hall of Fame

The Salem State University Northeast Regional Educators Hall of Fame is administered through the Salem State School of Education and Friends of Education Alumni Board.  The selection of Hall of Fame honorees from nominees is the responsibility of the Hall of Fame committee composed of five faculty and staff individuals from the School of Education and five individuals from the Friends of Education Alumni Board.

Salem State University will host an annual ceremony recognizing the chosen inductees and nominees.  This year's celebration will take place on Friday, November 4, 2016. A plaque of recognition is displayed in the Alumni House.

Along with honoring extraordinary educators, the Salem State University Northeast Regional Educators Hall of Fame program enhances the University’s presence in the Commonwealth as a flagship institution that values the work, dedication and commitment of those individuals who are education leaders.  Additionally, the Hall of Fame provides avenues for outreach in communities and schools, as well as encourages interaction and participation among those in the education field.
