A committee will decide the most outstanding nomination and also award in three areas, Senior, Junior and The Australia Day Bay Islander of the Year.

* 5. The Australia Day Bay Islander of the Year for 2019 will be awarded at the Australia Day Event held at The Kennedy Farm, Russell Island. The event will be partnered by RICarts and supported by Markets, Food and Drink Stalls and Entertainment. The award presentation will take place at 2.oopm.
This event is supported by Councillor Mark Edwards and the Friendly Bay Islander.
