East Meets West Trivia 2018 (Expression of Interest)
EMW 2018: An explosion of cultures, questions, and friendships in a uniquely Aussie setting!
Students from around the globe are invited to East Meets West Trivia, a freeevent celebrating diversity, multicultural friendship, and fun in the heart of Melbourne!
Presented by CQUniversity Melbourne, and supported by Study Melbourne and Joining the Dots, East Meets West Trivia is a uniquely Aussie trivia night, adapted to reflect the city’s many cultures and ethnicities.
On Thursday 24 May 2018, head to El Coco bar and restaurant at 120 King St in the CBD, to join 120 other local and international students for this buzzing battle of the brains!
From 6.00pm until 9.00pm, East Meets West Trivia will feature experienced question-askers the Quiz Meisters, and also include games, performances, a photo booth, a spelling bee, and creative social media challenges using hashtag #CQUniEastMeetsWest.
Finger food is provided with drinks at bar prices, and participants are encouraged to wear their national costumes or colours, and join a best-dressed challenge on the night. So take a study break and embrace your Melbourne student life – head to East Meets West Trivia and discover an explosion of cultures, questions and friendships in the heart of this vibrant city!
All students and trivia enthusiasts from across Melbourne and Victoria are welcome, but the event is capped at 120 participants, so RSVP is essential to guarantee your spot.
